One half of my diptych Night and Day (2006) will be on display during the Community Darkroom at the Genesee Center for the Arts’ exhibition “Pinhole Photography Invitational”. An opening reception is scheduled for this coming Saturday, April 28, from 6-8pm.

Although the image is not a “pinhole” photograph in the traditional sense (it was created in a room that I converted into a camera obscura, and the aperture was about a full inch in diameter), it was made in the same low-tech spirit. Also, I’ll be teaching a pinhole photography workshop at the same location on May 12 from 10am-4pm, so sign up for a day of camera-making, image-making, and perhaps a few other optical hijinks.
