One of the “pleasures” of having a curious eye is hearing the stern voice of a security guard. “No photos, please” is as polite as it gets; often, and thanks in part to our near-permanent heightened threat levels, their admonishment can be much worse.
Strictly No Photography is a home for all of those illicit snaps, the ones you managed to get before you were warned or threatened, or the result of clandestine shooting.
It’s like Flickr for scofflaws, and features images from government sites, war zones, religious shrines and that most delicate and secret sanctum – the art museum.
